PLAYABLE WEB GAME
Block Smash is a fast roguelike brick-breaker prototype for short browser sessions: aim the shot, clear blocks, collect upgrades, and stay alive as pressure rises.
Game overview
Block Smash turns a familiar brick-breaker action into a short survival loop. Each run asks the player to aim, launch, clear targets, choose upgrades, and keep momentum while pressure increases. The game is built for quick browser play rather than a long install-based session.
Core loop
- Aim the shot with mouse or touch.
- Launch and clear as many blocks as possible.
- Use upgrade choices to shape the next wave.
- Restart quickly when pressure overtakes the board.
Current build
- Status: playable public web build
- Input: mouse or touch
- Focus: fast starts, upgrade choices, and readable arcade feedback
- Last checked: June 2026
Controls and session shape
The public route starts in English for new visitors and keeps the main actions visible from the first screen, so the game can be tested without account setup or a download. A good run should feel clear within the first minute: aim, release, read the board, choose an upgrade, and try again.
Mobile and desktop notes
Block Smash is playable with mouse or touch, but comfort can vary by screen size. The play page should keep the game surface wide enough on desktop and avoid cramped touch targets on mobile. Reports about aim accuracy, button spacing, or layout shifts are useful for future tuning.
Known limitations
The prototype is still being tuned. Difficulty balance, mobile comfort, text polish, and deeper changelog notes may change as the public build is reviewed. The current version is best treated as a playable arcade prototype with active maintenance notes.
Original work and credits
This project page uses original Diligesker’s Lab copy and screenshots for the web build. The playable version is hosted on this domain as a self-contained HTML5 game bundle, and the in-game licenses area is kept available for included open-source and asset notices.
FAQ
Is this a download page?
No. The ZIP package, if used internally, is a runtime artifact for the browser page. Visitors should launch the game directly from the play route.
What may change next?
Future updates may tune difficulty, upgrade balance, mobile hit areas, and performance on lower-power devices.
